COOK. POUR. WATCH. LISTEN. STAY BY THE POOL.
This Woodbury project used an open area beside the existing pool to create a covered kitchen, bar and lounge. The pavilion made it a true outdoor room instead of a grill sitting beside the patio.

Grill, refrigeration, cabinetry, sink, bar seating, lighting, TV, audio, heat and the structure overhead all work better when they are planned as one outdoor room — not purchased one piece at a time.
An outdoor kitchen has to fit the way the backyard is actually used. We coordinate the working side — cooking, cold storage, sinks, cabinetry, utilities and ventilation — with the experience side: bar seating, shade, fireplaces, television, audio, lighting and circulation around the pool or patio.
THE KITCHEN SHOULD FEEL LIKE IT BELONGS TO THE PROPERTY.

The exact equipment changes from project to project. The planning categories do not. These pieces should be resolved together before the countertops and finished surfaces lock everything in place.
Built-in grill equipment sized around the working layout, clearances and how the kitchen will be used.
Outdoor refrigerators, ice machines and kegerators positioned where they support both cooking and entertaining.
Cabinetry and storage coordinated with appliances, utilities, countertop dimensions and the finished look of the space.
Outdoor-rated displays, distributed audio, heaters and lighting integrated with the pavilion, bar and seating areas.

A poolside pavilion, a modern wet bar and a destination kitchen at the far end of the pool all solve different problems. The common thread is that the outdoor kitchen is designed as part of the full property.
